2:45pm Juventus v Chelsea         FoxSoccer & FoxDeportes

– Juventus v Chelsea is a huge match for both teams as surprise leaders Shakhtar could make a major step to advancing with a win at Nordsjaelland. As a matter of fact, Shakhtar and Chelsea can clinch knockout stage places if they both win on Tuesday. But to show how close the group is, is Shakhtar win while Juventus and Chelsea draw, its Juve and Chelsea that would advance with wins in the 6th and final matchday.

GROUP F –

…..TEAM…………………..PTS…….GF…….GA…….GD
1. Bayern Munich…………….9……..10………5………+5
2. Valencia……………………9……..10………4………+6
3. BATE Borisov……………..6……….8………9………+0
4. LOSC Lille…………………0……….2……..12……..-10

12:00pm BATE Borisov v LOSC Lille      DirecTV/484
..2:45pm Valencia v Bayern Munich          DirecTV/482

– If BATE can grab maximum points early on Tuesday at home to Lille, 3 teams will find themselves at the top of the group – at least until the Valencia v Bayern match’s final whistle. It shows how important the match in Valencia is for both teams. A 2+ goal win by Valencia over Bayern would assure them first place in the group and that will certainly be their goal. BATE travel to Munich in the final matchday which will ultimitely determine who advances but with Valencia traveling to Lille, the bottom line is that all 3 top teams here have a good chance if Valencia cannot take advantage of home field on Tuesday.

GROUP G –

…..TEAM…………………..PTS…….GF…….GA…….GD
1. Barcelona………………….9………8……….5………+3
2. Celtic……………………….7………6……….5………+1
3. Benfica…………………….4……….3……….4………-1
4. Spartak Moscow………….3……….6……….9………-3

12:00pm Spartak Moscow v Barcelona     FoxSoccer & FoxDeportes
..2:45pm Benfica v Celtic        FoxSports Networks & DirecTV/481

– Barcelona and Celtic are in the driver’s seat in Group G as they can both advance with home wins in the final matchday even if they both lose on the road this matchday. Barcelona will not want to take any chances as they face Benfica in the final matchday. Theoretically its more complicated than this but in the end, Barca and Celtic very much have their own destinies in their hands – whether they do it this week or next is the only question.

GROUP H –

…..TEAM…………………..PTS…….GF…….GA…….GD
1. Manchester Utd…………..12………9………4………+5
2. Galatasaray………………..4……….4………5………-1
3. CFR Cluj……………………4……….5………6………-1
4. SC Braga…………………..3……….5……….8………-3

2:45pm Galatasaray v Manchester Utd.        FoxSoccer-Plus
2:45pm CFR Cluj v Braga          DirecTV/485

– Manchester Utd. are assured of first place as the only team in the Champions league this season with a perfect record. But that leaves the other 3 teams with everything to play for. Only two things are sure: Man United will win the group and the other participant in the knockout stage will not be known until the final matchday.
