The third round of CONCACAF qualifying comes to a close on Tuesday. Reminder, top 2 advance to the 4th and final round where all 6 teams will play in a single round robin group with the top 3 advancing to Brasil 2014 and 4th place going to a playoff. Here is the situation going into Tuesday’s matches:

– The bad news for Jamaica is that both the US and Guatemala can qualify with a draw. Jamaica not only need a win but to make up the 3 goals difference between either the USA or Guatemala, however loses. Both matches kick off at the same time (7:15pm ET).

– It will take a miracle for El Salvador to make the final round after dropping all 3 points to Costa Rica on Friday. Costa Rica will likely get maximum points against Guyana at home which will place them in the 4th round.

– Panama have for all practical purposes advanced so it all boils down to the Honduras v Canada match. Canada need a draw while Honduras need a win.
