The Portuguese Football Federation’s new launched channel – Channel 11 – has secured rights to Brazilian side Flamengo’s Brasileirao matches in Portugal. Flamengo are currently coached by Portuguese Jorge Jesus.
Canal 11 launched in August of this year as the in-house channel for the Federation. It shows third tier Portuguese football along with Youth Leagues (U19, U23) as well as the women’s league and futsal matches.
Exclusive rights to the Turkish Super League in Colombia have been acquired by Win Sports. Signing of Radamel Falcao by Istanbul side Galatasaray had everything tho do with it!

The French Football League have pulled the plug on the Coupe de la Ligue competition after this year’s edition is played. While it will be spun as a way to give players more time to recoup from their busy competition schedules, the truth is that the LFP could not get enough interest from TV broadcasters.

The Spanish Football Federation has put up for bid the rights to show the Copa del Rey from the Round-of-32 onwards, worldwide. The rights cover the 3 year period from the 2019-20 season to 2021-22.
