BeInSports purchases CONCACAF qualifiers

BeInSports USA has purchased from Traffic Sports Marketing Group the rights to all CONCACAF World Cup 2014 qualifiers – excluding Mexico matches and USA home matches – to be broadcast on their USA channel. This is an especially welcomed development for USA fans who were likely facing a PPV-only option for USA road games.

“By securing these exclusive TV rights, Bein Sport again shows why it’s the place for US fans to be in the best soccer action in the world,” Bein Sport managing director Yousef Al Obaidly said in a statement. “Fans can now cheer on the US men’s team as they compete on the world stage, and they can see it only on Bein Sport.”

USA home matches will continue being broadcast on the ESPN-family of channels. Mexico home matches can be seen on Univision with road matches on Telemundo.

Update: BeInSports LIVE coverage of non-USA qualifiers will begin in 2013. Rounds played in September and October of 2012 will be on a delayed basis for BeInSports with Integrated Sports showing the matches involving El Salvador, Honduras and Gutemala live via pay-per-view.
