beINSport to launch online stream this weekend!

 STREAMING ANNOUNCED!!!

During this evening’s CONMEBOL Under-20 Championship matches, the commentators announced that the Chile vs Paraguay on Sunday, January 20th (kickoff 3:30pm ET) will be available on the “brand new beINSport Streaming Service” at beinsport.tv. No other information was given but this sounds like the long-awaited regular streaming service that beINSport promised even before the official launch of the channels.

The Chile vs Paraguay match takes place at the same time both beINSport channels will be showing live coverage of the Valencia vs Real Madrid. Its not clear how extensive the coverage will be on the online service. With an inventory that includes La Liga, Serie A, Ligue-1, nPower Championship, Spanish Segunda, Copa del Rey, Coppa Italia, CONMEBOL and CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers (as well as other sports like handball and rugby) there are many fans that feel “their” favorite competitions do not get the coverage they deserve due to beIN’s limited channel distribution.

I would expect limited coverage for the first few days/weeks as the new service may need to work out kinks which are normal with any new launch. But in the near future, lets hope for extensive coverage of ALL the properties in beINSport’s inventory. Updates as they become available….
